In AMERICAN GIGOLO (1980) Hector Elizondo's police detective Sunday comes to question Richard Gere's Julian character who suggests they walk into the village, Westwood Village. They stop and have coffee at the Me & Me Diner, which used to be here. A Japanese restaurant presently fills the space.
